Welcome to this site about the Sony Playstation Portable!

This site was mainly created because there was no easy way to find information about how to use the Sony PSP together with Linux. But hopefully it will be more than that as I'm planning on writing reviews of the PSP games I have at the moment (Ridge Racers, Vampire Chronicle, Lumines, Wipeout Pure and Untold Legends: Brotherhood of Steel).

If you have something you think will fit on this page, please don't hesitate to send it in. It doesn't have to be specific to Linux either, your experiences together with Mac OSX, Windows or *BSD is just as interesting as well as general information about the Sony PSP.

I now have the Airform Pocket in blue color and I thought I'd mention a few things about it.

Read on for the full review.

First of all, it's butt ugly, not only because I got the blue one, but it's the design of it as well, and the material. I don't know what it's made of, but it's some sort of squishy plastic that smells awful. On the top of the case there is a raised part that is completely unnecessary, I guess it's to show that the UMDs are placed there, but it it's just for show, it doesn't add more space, and it's too small to fit the UMDs anyway. The sides are completely covered by the ziplock, which doesn't really seem to fit the rest of the design.

The case fits the PSP, barely, and a couple of UMD discs can be placed in a compartment in the lid that's separated from the PSP by a flap that sticks to the lid with a velcro strap. In the flap there's also a net that can be closed with a small ziplock, the picture on the back of the package shows two UMDs fitted in there, but that's a very tight fit, so I just put my extra Memory Stick there and placed the UMDs in the lid. There is also a tiny handstrap included, and on the back of the case there are two loops that you can fit a belt through, hopefully.

This is a hard case, it should protect the PSP fully even if it's dropped to the ground, and it should be more than adequate for throwing it into a backpack. The insides of the case doesn't leave any room left for anything at all except for the PSP, and you really have squeeze it in to make it fit. I've managed to close the case with the handstrap still fitted to the PSP, but it isn't easy. At least the PSP will not move around at all inside the case. The flap between the UMD compartment and the PSP is thick and padded as well, so there shouldn't be any possible way either will get damaged.

If you need protection for your PSP but don't want to spend that much money, or if you don't care much about the looks, this is a good choice. It does it's job well, and it's cheap, only $6. If you want your case to look as stylish as your PSP though, you should look for something else. There aren't many other cases out there yet either, so until something really good is released you could go for this one.
